Thanks for posting. I've confirmed your Stardock account should be able to activate with the license.
Please try these steps to correct the issue:
1. Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time. A "Run" dialog box will pop up, please paste the path below into the "Open" field and press OK.
From the folders that pops up, delete the Demigod folder and all of its contents. After you have deleted the folder, try launching the game again. If prompted to activate, enter your Stardock account email address and password to proceed.
2. If this doesn't work, try clicking the "Reset Password" button from the Stardock Account registration window. This should send an email with instructions for resetting the password to one that will work with your account email address. If necessary, you could also try resetting the password with this link: https://www.stardock.com/accounts/resetpassword
